Singapore Train Railway Station

Singapore Railway Station is also known as Tanjong Pagar railway station or Keppel Road railway station. The train railway station contains a Central Waiting Hall with a dome roof. Commonly known to the locals in Singapore and Malaysia as KTM train because it is operated by KTM Railway, it runs three times daily from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. KTM also operates a shuttle service between Johor Bahru and Singapore. The only stop in Singapore are at Woodlands (for immigration clearance by Singapore Immigration and disembarkation of passengers travelling from Malaysia) and Tanjong Pagar (embarkation and disembarkation). Taking the train is the safe, comfortable, cheap and traditional way to travel independently between Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Penang & Bangkok. Singapore-Kuala Lumpur takes 6 hours on one of two modern daytime trains or 8 hours on a time-effective overnight sleeper train.

The 2 Singapore MRT subway train stations to get you to other parts of Singapore are Tanjong Pagar and Outram Park MRT subway stations which are approximately 1 km from the railway station.
